Registered NGO · Regd. No. 50/2006

Empowering women,
educating children,
sustaining communities.

Since 2006 we've worked village by village in Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu — building women's savings groups, keeping vulnerable children in school, and helping small farmers restore the land they depend on.

What we do

Four ways we work alongside our villages

01 — Women Empowerment

Supporting women, sustaining communities

We promote self-help groups and run trainings on savings, leadership and safety, giving women a structured way to build financial independence and a stronger voice at home and in the village.

02 — Farmers Empowerment

Restoring nature, one farm at a time

Small and marginal farmers get training and extension support in sustainable agriculture, and help forming farmer producer organisations — so knowledge turns into better yields, market access and bank credit.

03 — Child Protection

Reconnecting children with learning

04 — Community & Relief

Bringing communities together

From Covid-19 food relief to voter awareness drives and climate education sessions, we show up for our villages beyond any single programme — because resilient communities need more than one kind of support.

Our story

Started by one volunteer in Ayyalur. Still rooted there.

In 2006, Mr. C. Veerachamy — a local social worker in Ayyalur — brought together like-minded volunteers to help the poorest families in the surrounding villages improve their social and economic conditions. Rose Trust has stayed true to that beginning ever since.

"Empowering communities, transforming lives."
